Pro tempore is an exciting new performance and art space presented by the Salamanca Arts Centre. Pro tempore explores experimental and avant-garde sound, movement and art in temporary space. In a pentamerous series of curated events, Pro tempore will bring innovative and luminary artists to the attention of an intrepid audience, creating and sharing a transformative experience through music, poetry, dance and art. Arguably ambitious, Pro tempore is for an audience with open ears and minds, and probably long attention spans. If you’ve made it this far into reading this blurb, I’d say Pro tempore is definitely for you. The Huon Valley Mid Winter Festival is a time to adorn pagan costumes, eat, drink and surrender yourself to the spirit of winter and wassail. To celebrate with music, laughter, and the burning of Big Willie.
