Late Spring
Late Spring is the third soundscape album (following Early Summer, and Midwinter) of field recordings captured across Lutruwita/Tasmania. Field recordings were undertaken in the North-West of Lutruwita in Takayna/Tarkine, in the South-West Styx Valley and in sites across the South-East throughout the spring 2023-2024. The layered soundscapes were a part of the PhD research project “Songwriting and Sound,” investigating creative responses to environmental sounds.
