Early Summer
It’s wonderful to be sharing some of the sounds collected over the last few seasons in Lutruwita Tasmania through the soundscape release: Early Summer.
Since 2019, I have been sitting quietly on mossy logs and by creeksides with microphones and headphones on to learn be a better listener. It has been such a wonder to sit and notice the tiny details and patterns within sites, as they wove little sonic worlds around me to rest and reflect in.
This is the first collection of soundscapes to be released, recorded over the summer of 2021-2022 in little in-between moments: dawn, dusk and soft evenings.
