June 30th: Festival of Voices
Join us for a moving afternoon of women’s stories in song, in the World Heritage-listed Cascades Female Factory. Once housing thousands of female convicts, the site is now preserved to share this history and its women’s stories.
Tasha Zappala and Nourish Women’s Choir will perform songs that examine women’s journey from their history to today.
Experience the power of women’s voices in this picturesque setting with songs of love, loss, hope, and freedom. Don’t miss this unforgettable afternoon celebrating the resilience and creativity of women throughout the ages.
Please note that this is an outdoor event, so we recommend you rug up in warm clothes ready for a Tassie winter afternoon! You are welcome to bring along a chair, and light refreshments will be available for purchase onsite.
